      Arthur Chu Retweeted Simon Whitten

In fact the key prejudice that drives eugenics is something now Juan to be definitively false (that all "positive" traits are correlated, that physically healthy and beautiful people are also competent, virtuous and wise)https://twitter.com/Simon_Whitten/status/1228991252106039302 …

      Arthur Chu added,

      Simon Whitten @Simon_Whitten
Key points: 1) Eugenicists were trying to create objectively better humans, not select for subjectively-valued traits. 2) Eugenics died when the emergence of modern evolutionary genetics showed it to be impossible (not just unethical).

Intelligence has a g factor and correlates with symmetry of faces. Intelligent people are desirable for a society. Intelligence is heritable. Intelligence is a strong factor in attractiveness.

return your phd because you didn't understand a single thing he wrote🙄. i'm embarrassed for you.seriously. for your simple brain: you CAN'T define intelligence in the absolute. so your "studies" depend on an axiomatic definition that ipso facto renders the correlation trivial

What kind of data would convince you that iq is an objective measurement?

that's not the point my feeble brained friend. whether your definition of intelligence (regardless of if iq measures it without bias) means anything is the point. here's a clue: it doesn't. and here's the conclusion: you're an idiot. now about asking for a refund for that phd...

What do you mean with 'means anything'? Charactercally? Agreed, it doesn't . Income, lifespan surely yes. Is that fair? Surely no. Why do you keep insulting me? Btw original definition of idiot: person with low iq due to lack of iodide.

No, the *original* definition of "idiot", in Greek, is literally "selfish" ("idios" is "self"), or more accurately "self-interested", an ignorant and uninformed person who took no interest in the affairs of the polis

Although, yes, Binet included "idiot" on his list of terms for varying levels of intellectual disability, it was never specifically associated with iodine deficiency, you're thinking of the word "cretin"

Yes! I knew I read the iodide connection somewhere!
