When I was in high school I came up with this character called "The Man of Pugs" who was like basically a big ominous cultist robe full of pugs, and he was a supervillain

And his gimmick was that he was this Elder God who helped create the universe but due to design team friction with other gods they cut all his contributions out of the project except for pugs, which he created as basically a shitpost And he was ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS about this

And so he became dedicated to tearing apart the universe But gods have no power over the universe that is not their intellectual property and the only IP the Man of Pugs owns is pugs So he built a man out of them and was trying to use them to destroy the universe

But like The Man of Pugs had such a flimsy grasp of reality from having been cut iout the design team so early on that all his plots to destroy the universe made very little sense Like hijacking a weather machine and making it rain cuttlefish to the tune of "Blue Danube"

Anyway that's all, I never used the character, he was like a personal meme I found hilarious

Oh I did sort of reference him in a D&D campaign I ran in California where I for some reason decided it would be hilarious if kobolds treated pugs as sacred Like they still worshipped/served dragons but absolutely lost their shit at you if you messed with their pugs

And all their dungeons had like lots of pug iconography and statuary and shit, or like pug crests on their armor And also just straight up pugs running around the dungeons being weird

Idk to this day the idea of kobolds having a pug obsession for no adequately explained reason makes me die laughing

There was an episode of the MIB cartoon about an ancient alien race that worships pugs and seeded a now lost civilization on Earth centered on pugs They built a giant pug version of the Sphinx

They reemerge because they find out about Frank the Pug and think he's the avatar of their deity only to become incensed when it's revealed he's just an unrelated alien disguised as a pug

Do you know where I can see the series online? I've been wanting to rewatch it forever.
