Their problem was that their idea of 'fixing' the afterlife was to invent suicide for people who are already dead. Which. I mean. Really?

Well, TGP was an afterlife show, so true immortality without death was always a problem for them I've posted about how my favorite of the "deaths" was Jason's though and how it subverts the idea that it's analogous to suicide

Arthur ChuVerified account @arthur_affect(Good Place series finale spoilers) The way the show treats Jason has kind of rubbed me the wrong way a bit, but his ending was perfect For some reason the fact that he ends by actually becoming what he was pretending to be is really powerfulShow this thread1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes -

Yeah you might be onto something with that, it was the lack of curiosity that struck me though. Like, didn't anybody want to stick around to see how it all ends? And I guess true inner peace is being able to go, "Nah, I'm good."

That curiosity was something that came up with BoJack, the idea that you might want to stick around to see how your basketball team does this year, and every year.

If Jason waited until the Jags won the Super Bowl he might be there forever
