There was a whole thing about Haier having a company tradition where there's two yellow footprints on the factory floor and every Monday the worker who got written up most in the past week has to stand there and recite a lecture about taking pride in your work

Apparently there was an incident when they tried to institute this tradition at their first US facility and the workers, despite being a non-union shop, unanimously stood up and refused to do it

This isn't communism. It's state capitalism. Communism is workers controlling the means of production. (I was brought up with my dad saying that)
