Geordi: Folds early because poker chips are inanimate objects, and thus he projects his feelings onto them and falls in love with them and can't bear the thought of losing them.

Worf: Always preoccupied wondering if it is honorable to fold, or to even take any cards and not play the hand as dealt.

The whole "Klingons never surrender" thing absolutely means that Worf plays every hand and gets cleaned out after like ten minutes

Lol so I actually looked up a bunch of clips and Worf's most consistent thing is like getting really mad when he gets a bad hand and folding angrily with bad grace Like he's not really comfortable with the basic idea that poker is a game of chance and you can't control your hand

It fits with his overall straightforward character and discomfort with lying and bluffing and so on When they're playing draw they all kind of knowingly chuckle when he throws away his hand demanding new cards after having already called to stay in the pot

(Realistically he should've just folded, staying in and then drawing five either means a failed attempt at a bluff or you just fucked up)
