Yeah. Never feel that way. It's funny that voices like yours are seen as the rebellious counter culture voices of today. That is very telling about the general disorder in our society. Please don't be swayed by any of the negative criticisms. Keep up the good work!

What's odd, the authenticity seems really fake. Like identifying with a group for the sake of belonging and acceptance rather than truly believing in that identity. Taylor Swift gives me that vibe. Especially from her documentary. She was suppressed before, now shes her true self

I'm aghast that these people think his wife would have preferred he stay in the closet and stay married. I have friends who've been married to gay men. None recommend it. All were much happier post-divorce.

This is how tweets go astray. I don't care that Philip Scofield is gay. I was criticizing the lack of self awareness. I was also making broad generalizations about marriages that fail. And yeah, kinda. They are happier post divorce. They can meet their own personal needs.

I'm the child of parents who felt an overwhelming sense of religious duty to stay together for their children's sake and it's by far the worst thing that's ever happened to me

How do you know? You didn't experience the alternative. I did. A nasty divorce at 6 yo. Not growing up with my siblings. Coming home to an empty house. Living with a father consumed by anger and grief. Destroyed economically. Loss of friends. You don't know me. Don't speculate.

Wow neither one of us has actually experienced the counterfactual so it's almost like neither one of us has the right to make sweeping statements, except you're the one who started making them
