Ever since watching the movie Rat Race I've thought the act of physically flipping a coin has too many moving parts to be a good default RNG, as we can vividly see from all these angry videos

The one viral video does in fact unfortunately feature some kid who was never told that for important coin tosses you don't catch it you let the coin hit the floor Probably doesn't watch football

I still don’t understand why flipping a coin is preferable to awarding each candidate a half a delegate (each delegate’s vote would be worth .5 of a vote).
