This is a gloss of Tushnet in a review, though? If Bruenig as a problem squaring her faith with LGBT food, that’s a problem—and she wouldn’t be the only Christian leftist struggling with the issue—but this is hardly evidence.

1/2 Bruenig has offered few hints of what her views on LGBT people are. She's been explicit about her traditionalist stance on abortion, but hasn't spelled out where LGBT people fit into her politics.

2/2 The few hints she's given suggests, at the very least, she morally disapproves of LGBT+ romantic-cum-sexual relationships. So it seems disingenuous of her to accuse liberals of not caring about LGBT people.
