(Good Place series finale spoilers) The way the show treats Jason has kind of rubbed me the wrong way a bit, but his ending was perfect For some reason the fact that he ends by actually becoming what he was pretending to be is really powerful

Idk The Jianyu thing originally came off as kind of mean and dismissive about actual Buddhist monks, in a show that really centered Western analytic philosophy to the detriment of other traditions But I think this payoff made up for it
