I'm sorry, I really don't know much about the stock market, but I still think the global downturn over the Coronavirus is *weird* for so many reasons:

Honestly if I had my way I'd just ban stock markets. Maybe it would have unintended consequences. But they seem to be predicated on the idea that companies are only succeeding so long as they are gaining customers and/or increasing their profits. Infinite growth.
