A long, long time ago there was this April Fool's joke in the text adventure/interactive fiction community where they released "previews" of a bunch of impossible/absurd games One of them was an adaptation of Flowers for Algernon

The joke was in the preview, before Charlie gets his treatment, you had to deal with all the words being misspelled The central puzzle is figuring out how he thinks the word "open" is spelled ("opin dor") to get out of your apartment
