I'll say that you're stupid as fuck, and again, you're literally making shit up to be mad about. Your hypothetical is bad, and you should feel bad for making it. You think you have a point, but you don't, you have a strawman that you've created because you hate Bernie

No, I've never hated Bernie. I think only getting 7 laws passed in his entire time in Congress is a poor record, and that he focuses on class problems at the expense of intersectional problems, but that's not hatred. But I hate Roganites. They're fash-trash.

Okay? That doesn't change your strawman into anything more than that. I'm absolutely not a fan of Rogan, but I'm having a pretty hard time giving a shit about this

*shrugs* OK, then don't. Me, all I'll say is that if I'm expected to share a tent with Roganites, I'm not in that tent. If you're comfortable allying with those people, you go right ahead. I'm sure with them you don't need me anyway.

I'm not in the tent with them, they're in the tent with me. My beliefs/values aren't being compromised, much like Bernie's. If yours are that easily shakable, it means you didn't really have them to begin with

I go by: "You are who you ally with." I don't ally with fash, tankies, TERFs, gators, MRAs, or the chans/KF. Roganites are alt-right fash. Tthat's a hard no. Not easily shakeable. That's not shaking hands with the Devil. You want to get down & dirty with 'em, that's on you.

He went on the show and swayed Rogan with his beliefs. Literally nothing changed on Bernie's end. You are making FAR more out of this than it is. This is nothing but desperate straw grasping and it needs to fucking stop. If Bernie wins the nomination what are you going to do?

If I said I really was going to stay home if he got the nomination do you think people would leave me alone or respect that decision Or is that kind of leverage something only "disaffected white men left behind by the economy" are allowed to wield

I’d guess most people would tell you that isn’t a smart decision in the same way they tell everyone that, especially in such an important election. It’s not clear how you’re pulling that out of this hypothetical reaction

Replying to @ChrisTheFine @arthur_affect and
The candidates want Joe Rogan and his viewers because they are majority working class and potentially swing voters. Just because you’re assuming the race of the audience and putting meaning in that doesn’t make an effective argument for why he should reject support

Right, and I'm not a swing voter so you can ignore me This is my point - I would love to be part of a big group that threatens to jump ship in November and "hand the election to Trump" to get what I want But I don't have that power because I can't take that risk

You’re just jealous that swing voters hold power in elections. But that’s how our system works because it’s binary. That’s not indicative of anything about the demographic so it’s a bad take to try and twist that
