Ah yes. As we all know, the true ultimate goal of the socialist workers paradise is still having to work... but you get to be a dick to people while you do it.https://twitter.com/mcrumps/status/1220405352518377480 …

m.crumps @mcrumpsa better and more equal society will almost certainly mean that workers are under less pressure to cater to the needs of every last customer. it will mean that waiters will be less friendly b/c they wont need to do all the *emotional labor* (yes, the real kind) for tips, etcShow this thread4 replies 3 retweets 52 likesShow this thread -

P.S. for context "Socialist Customer Service" here is part of a whinge against disability protections - which are, y'know, not a customer service thing but a LAW thing:https://twitter.com/mcrumps/status/1220401420249288710?s=19 …
MovieBob Productions added,
m.crumps @mcrumpsthe coffee spoonie people are a bunch of narcissistic wreckers & accepting their transparently bad-faith "socialism with american customer service characteristics" by indulging their petty & vengeful demands to shame or fire workers on social media is not how to handle ableismShow this thread2 replies 4 retweets 41 likesShow this thread -

No, it’s not about that at all actually. It’s a statement that the phrase “consumer protections” is an inherently capitalistic lens thru which to view economic transactions. Protecting “consumers” is not socialist. Protecting ALL PEOPLE is socialist.

ADA protects disabled citizens both in their position as workers (you can't refuse to hire or fire someone because of disability) AND as customers (you can't deny service to them either) The guy he's quoting directly thinks the latter is unjust
