Hm, per your point about compliance, Uber *is* responsible for creating an environment that doesn't actively disincentivize it, which seems to be the problem now. (Drivers should of course comply with the law but Uber was set up fro the getgo to work against that)

Uber disincentivizes picking up passengers who seem like they might make a mess or take longer to board and exit the vehicle, yes The widespread perception that this is particularly true of disabled passengers to a degree that justifies discrimination is false and bigoted
