Egh, you see I really strongly believe IRL that trolley problems should prioritise saving the most ppl but that also IRL it's never as simple as pulling a lever, and the rhetoric of trolley problems is often a false dichotomy to distract from third options someone is afraid of

Like every rich asshole saying "We can't house everyone so which ppl do we prioritise" framing the situation as tough decisions about who we save, distracting from the possible third option of "We take your excess wealth and house everyone"
