Even if Uber's argument had been accepted by the courts, that would've just established Uber wasn't ADA-compliant because Uber doesn't drive people The drivers DO drive people, and under Uber's framing are all independent business owners, and therefore must comply with ADA!

The ADA published guidance on this is very clear - you cannot "contract your way out of an ADA obligation" If a business exists that is providing driving services to the general public, it has to let service dogs on! No exceptions! Hope this helps!
