Over breaking ADA law, good morals, good ethics, and local law? Because (And this is his STATED REASON) he didn't want a dog on his leather seats? Fuck, he's lucky he only got fired! He shoulda been sued for breaking ADA law!

There is nothing about his car and its leather seats that are "inappropriate for disabled passengers" and the casual way people throw this around as truth is really fucking obnoxious

And just FYI, Uber's systems for handling this aren't great, but they do in fact allow the driver to charge a cleaning fee and/or a damage fee if you mess up their car CS says she's consistently told drivers she's willing to pay it if anything happens

She didn't demand that he lose his job over it, she repeatedly said she didn't want him to, and in fact 3 out of 4 of the people she reported *did* get off with a warning (and Uber claims their policy is to never ban on first offense)

And one of those other 3 drivers, after getting a warning and being told she has to pick up disabled passengers from now on, chose to quit driving for Uber on her own Which complicates this narrative that this is all about ignorance
