It sucks that Uber tries to dodge responsibility by saying their drivers aren't their employees and they're not responsible for their actions but that doesn't change the fact that the responsibility EXISTS and always exists whoever it is who owns the company

The number of people bringing out takes like "Well if he's technically self employed by Uber's definition then he's an individual not a business and none of this applies to him" That's not how any of this works

It's a fucking general universal principle, it's a societal expectation You don't have to accommodate disabled people because you work for a giant powerful tech company You just HAVE TO DO IT Period
