I have a wild idea. Let’s pass laws that deny Uber the ability to sever themselves from their drivers and take responsibility for what happens when someone rents an Uber. This way lawyers would have an easier time suing them which would motivate Uber to fix things.

I’m guessing this would be a lot more successful than demonizing individual drivers on Twitter. I admit, it would require more work to really push for this in a real way, but it would actually accomplish something.

I'm a working class black guy who knows a lot of drivers app based, taxi and car service. I also know how close a lot of these guys are to losing everything if they get fired. I haven't seen them on Twitter giving their POV.
