Ride share companies are so used to skirting regulation that we just take it for granted that they should be able to skirt ADA compliance too.

What I’ve seen is nothing but self-identified socialists taking the blame off the company by blaming disabled people for using them.

Seriously. "What if there were a *different* Uber for disabled people and their filthy service animals? You know, something separate. But equal." They'd literally rather segregate than have the human decency and meet the legal obligation to accommodate.

If you can't afford to make your business ADA-compliant, you can't afford to do business with the public. If people want to make complying with the law as easy and cheap as possible/give people more option in work to not feel forced to drive for Uber, let's talk about that
-
But don't anyone dare further marginalise disabled people in a misguided attempt at class solidarity - disabled accessibility is non-negotiable

Separate but equal is inherently unequal. That's the first thing that sprang to mind....

It's like people are trying to come up with solutions when we already have one. I didn't realize people knew so little about the ADA.
-
The ADA was one of the last good things to come from bipartisan efforts, and as such political hacks in this day and age can't weaponize it so they don't care to understand it.
