Coffeespoonie made it very clear that every time she was refused she could tell the car had plenty of room for her dog and her wheelchair She had someone else there to fold and unfold the wheelchair for her All the driver had to do was fucking sit there and let her in the car

The company, yes, could have trained the guy better in the sense of telling him "You really do legally have to pick up disabled people" But the act of picking up disabled people does not actually require training of any kind You just have to not be an asshole

My God why do so many of you pretend like she's yelling at people for not having a specialized wheelchair lift or the driver wasn't willing to carry her on his back like a horse or some other bullshit you made up about how demanding and harsh she was

How do you make clear that this is not optional It's amazing so many people are talking with the framing that not picking up someone in a wheelchair is *mean*, but picking them up is certainly an imposition and you can't expect someone who's already having a bad day to do it etc
