I don't approve of people who say that if their preferred candidate doesn't get the nom that they refuse to vote But having listened to their bottomless bile and nonsense I kind of see where they're coming from because I don't really want them to be happy or healthy either
I feel like, in this sense, you're speaking from what I'd call virtue ethics That you're judging people for not having the same kind of reaction to Trump and categorizing him as fundamentally different from everyone else in a way that would drive their actions when voting

Hmm Possibly? I don't know much about virtue ethics in the academic sense I mean I think making it as lofty as that is unnecessary If you won't stand in the way of a force that is eventually going to kill me (among MANY ppl) then you're ultimately participating in my murder

Like I guess it's a moral judgment but my own vitriol comes primarily from a a friend-or-foe distinction A friend acts against fascism A foe does literally any other thing but exactly that
