It's definitely one of the better scenes in the film.

What's weird is Ford doesn't show up in the credits which suggests he *really* resented being called back.

Well, no, I would just call that an attempt to avoid spoilers

Possibly? But I can't recall that ever happening in a film before.

I mean I've seen it done in TV where they wanted to keep the guest star a secret until the end but I've never noticed it in films. And usually they still credit them in the end crawl. Was Nimoy credited in Into Darkness I wonder?

Daniel Craig wasn't credited for his cameo in TFA, he had to confirm it was him in an interview

Actually looking it up, James Earl Jones surprisingly didn't get credited for playing the voice of Darth Vader for any of the original theatrical releases of the original Star Wars trilogy Nor was he credited for his brief lines in RotS

I guess out of principle or something Lucas didn't want the illusion ruined that Darth Vader's body and voice were different people Funny how despite David Prowse being the officially credited actor for Darth Vader no one remembers it that way

There's a reversal of this where in the first Hellboy movie Doug Jones played Abe Sapiens' body and David Hyde Pierce played his voice And when Pierce found out they were only going to credit one actor he insisted they credit Jones and not him

Because normally it's the suit actors and not the voice actors who get screwed in that situation (Which does cast a nasty racial light on the Vader thing)
