Unfortunately, the end of the movie strongly implies that they end up together, and according to the most recent film they had a kid even if the marriage didn't last. (So, a lot like Han, basically.)

Crystal Skull says they were *going* to get married but then Indy ghosted her a week before the wedding due to his commitment issues, unaware that she was already pregnant She then married another dude (with the last name Williams) so Henry wouldn't grow up a bastard

The stepfather dies in WWII and young Henry ends up a troubled fatherless child anyway and takes on the nickname "Mutt" etc There are parallels to the Star Wars story but Mutt clearly has a much more valid grievance against Indy

Anyway Crystal Skull ends with Indy finally actually marrying Marion and being there for his son, though we'll see if that sticks when they do the sequel

Harrison Ford actually said he was looking forward to doing an Indiana Jones movie where Indy isn't a lone hero with no family for once, circling back to the family themes with Holy Grail But then they officially confirmed Mutt isn't coming back so I dunno

That's possibly due to real-life concerns with Shia LeBoeuf's reliability

Which is saying something considering Ford is pretty hard to get to commit to projects himself.

Which, as people have pointed out, is what everyone wanted to hear Han's actor say, but also, I'm pretty sure he was genuine

He's been so open about the fact that he always thought Star Wars was a bullshit project from the beginning That's why they created Lando to replace Han in case they had to kill him off in ESB

I feel like there was a segment of fandom that got judgmental about this, too, which I've always thought was weird; do they get mad at people who do non-acting jobs just for the money?

Ford doesn't strike me as a the type to get sentimental. Regardless of how you feel about Star Wars, or Indiana Jones or Blade Runner, they were just jobs for Ford then and they're just jobs for him now.

Han's idgaf attitude in ANH is a direct reflection of Ford's attitude in real life I mean he'd actually quit acting and then got roped into doing this movie because Lucas had hired him to stand in for Han while auditioning people to play Luke and then just hired him for real

Yeah. I liked seeing him show up in TROS and TFA a lot, but those did make me wonder if maybe he wasn't ever that strong an actor. But if you go back and watch the OT or the Fugitive or whatever it becomes pretty clear that he just was kind of checked out in the ST, which is fine

Like maybe more kindly there are two kinds of roles for him: play-acting and acting and you can totally tell when he's just kind of in costume goofing around having a good time and picking up a check.

I got the impression from interviews that Ford really enjoyed making TESB but got fed up with Star Wars once he read the script for RotJ and realized that Han was going to end up a second banana to teddy bears.

He was also contractually obligated to make the Star Wars Christmas Special, which would probably sour anyone on the franchise, and especially someone whose career had taken off as Ford's had by that point.
