If there's one thing I think needs to be addressed with considerably more care it's the extent to which trans people get dumped on for addressing their own identities in fiction Like there's more than enough cis people writing shitty trans rep why are you jumping on each other

Yeah it's tricky especially because even when a writer is ostensibly cis they may well be in the closet and jumping on them doesn't make anything better either I would prefer that writing about gender in fiction was more of a Wild West than it is really
