Even if I buy that killing randos is seen as less morally impactful, it's plainly because of somewhat lazy scriptwriting and nothing else, and also the killings of Palpatine, Snoke,and Palpatine again are portrayed as unambiguously good, it's just that Palpatine mindfcks the hero

Like logically why exactly was Luke supposed to not kill Palpatine If he actually knew about Force Lightning and Palpatine wasn't defenseless would killing him have been okay

What if he had successfully killed Palpatine, and this had somehow caused him to turn evil, but then Lando blew up the Death Star anyway Aside from being a personal tragedy for Luke's friends, is that really that bad an ending
