Oh yeah the idea of a shareholder revolt turning capitalism around is already a laughable fairy tale, before you start talking about shareholders as including homeless people who bought one share
Fwiw my own personal opinion is that capitalism sucks but an individual poor or middle class person putting money in a 401k isn't really becoming a "capitalist" in a meaningful sense and shouldn't be judged more negatively than using a bank or, yes, buying commercial products

But Kristin's devotion to the idea that participating in investment is somehow ennobling ("It makes you a co-owner of the greatest corporations in the world!") is creepy and fucked up and is clearly leading to giving vulnerable people objectively bad advice
