Good point. The healer isn't educated or especially brilliant. Rather, she's a natural, inherent caregiver.
I'm actually curious where this came from, because D&D clerics are based on priests militants and Lord of the Rings didn't really have a healer archtype that maps to this (Aragorn heals but that lead to the D&D Ranger not a healer Archtype) (+)
Elrond and Galadriel both had associations with healing and gentle/wise but also were very obviously people you didn't want to mess with it at all.
