One can say whatever they will about the effectiveness or even the cohesion of "cancel culture" but let's not pretend that defying it and retaining the company of ppl who, whether you want to call them "bad" or not, have objectively said or done shitty things, is a daring stance

To be fair, her final statement on this is that cultivating an "apolitical" social network was an essentially selfish act on her part, something she saw as necessary for survival because she couldn't trust "the community"
