    Catching up on all the restaurants that closed last year without me realizing. One of the casualties was apparently Larb Ubol, my go-to post-NYCC Thai food year after year. There are so many mediocre Thai food in that area and that place was one of the few great ones. Damn.

    Don't tell Anita Hill to move on you feckless ghouls. I don't care if Joe Biden *is* the undisputed best chance to unseat Trump, if Hill wants to tell the world he's a chode to her dying breath it is her right to plant like a tree beside the river of truth and say, no, YOU move.

    Just last week I was at a restaurant eating dinner and there was a group at a nearby table excitedly discussing the latest GOT ep. What was I gonna do if I wasn't caught up, walk over and tell them to not talk among friends? They weren't overly loud. It's just a NY restaurant.

    I'm not saying it's better or worse but I remember before Twitter people were openly talking to each other about an episode the next day and if anyone hasn't seen it they would not be so bold as to demand that others should not discuss the show in public.
