Many of us spend too much time looking inward, and some of us too much outward. Straddling both is key to having real vision, for we cannot understand the world without understanding ourselves, and vice versa.

I think finding this balance, between inner and outer, between dark and light, material and spiritual, is where we find our soul, and where we find what it means to be truly human.
And we cannot find the "one" without getting to know the "two".

I have been mostly inward my entire life, but have felt that shifting in the last five years. I see the inner work as an important foundation for properly opting into changing the world.
