Perception by way of the unconscious is subtle, it is easy to mistake these knowings as coming from some external force. Although appealing to the gods for blessings and good fortune is written into the fabric of our being.

No! I think we negate the power of intuition in our culture too heavily. Your body knows things your mind can't. There's implicit patterns you're picking up on that consciousness can't make sense of. We need to get out of our own way sometimes and let our bodies guide us.
