If you are a growth oriented person it can really difficult to interact with people who insist on operating from an older version of you.

God am I struggling with this right now.
You’re a piece in a social puzzle. When you change your shape it forces the other pieces to adjust, and they don’t want to do that! That’s why growth is often met with resistance and resentment from others.
Beautifully said, they want to change their shape & they don’t want the puzzle to look different.
