Conversation

I switch between my writing app, a pen and paper, illustrating in photoshop, using a whiteboard when approaching a new chapter or episode. I’ll travel (when possible), work in different rooms, even sit in different locations on the floor. Drugs, alcohol, if feeling dangerous. 1/

My understanding is that mindfulness/insight meditation takes aim at this 'breaking of the frame' through thought alone. Analysis/synthesis cycles, disintegrating/integrating reality and gradually increasing the fidelity of one's experience. Can anyone speak to this? 3/3
