Is anyone on here willing to share their work on or understanding of William James' notion of truth and pragmatism?

Basic interpretation: the truth is what ‘works’. A proposition is true if it has high predictive power. Ex: I add 2 rocks to 2 rocks and I get 4 rocks. I try this a thousand times and get 4 rocks every time. Therefore, my proposition ‘2+2=4’ appears to be true, because it works.
