Some of my best recent thinking has been done while riding a bike & talking to myself out loud. I record myself, which helps it feel like I have an audience (in a good way). I just ramble on the topics that are vexing me most, & if I keep talking I seem to wander into solutions.

I do a morning ‘walk and talk’ where I try to say aloud whatever I’m thinking. We forget that thoughts aren’t words; when we translate thoughts into words we make them tangible, observable. I always feel cleansed and focused afterwards, and often arrive at profound insights.
