Honestly, I am pessimistic about 'civilization'. I think much of it will crumble in the next 2-3 decades. I am optimistic about distributed clusters of humans finding ways to be resilient and regenerative amidst the wreckage

I imagine the materials, technology, survival skills would be relatively easy to acquire, while reinventing the social dynamics/culture of a successful tribe would be challenging. Fun/scary to think about. 🤔

I don't think the former is nearly as easy to require as you suggest. Many years of accumulated embodied cognition, esp. wrt permaculture
