I'm having a hard time mustering the enthusiasm to build out a 'second brain'. I get the appeal in theory, but I don't feel like my ability to draw connections and make sense of complexity is lacking without it. Any others in a similar boat?

Writing down all ideas that occur to me coupled with a goal of writing a Theory-of-Everything-type book has lead to me creating an ‘external mind’ pretty accidentally. (In fact this is the first time I’ve heard someone else mention the concept). For me, the telos is crucial.
