Zoom socializing can never replace in-person relating, but it does add an interesting tool to the toolbox. I don’t see the zoom gathering going away for the people who’ve gotten used to it—even after the lockdown ends. It accomplishes something unique and powerful.

For me, it seems that social and work-related activity has moved to Zoom, while I now spend relatively more time in person with my partner and family than I did before quarantine. I wonder if this might be similar for others? And if there's something to celebrate about this?

Yes, right now there's a grounding of many of my closer intimate relationships, combined with an improved flow in some of my more 'business' relationships. For me, Zoom seems to augment the latter. Both aspects give me hope.
