We don’t need fancy terms like “salience landscape”. If we understand simple words like “seeing” properly. We are searching for what we have in new places, and we are just cluttering the language.

Perhaps new jargon can serve as a ’fresh start’ when older terminology has become burdened with too many, perhaps misleading, interpretations. (i.e. Heidegger?) Also, analysis (vs. synthesis) reduces concepts, requiring new words to convey more specific meanings. Or it’s laziness
