Listening to @planetmoney today, and I was shocked to hear a recording of a call I made to CSPAN when I was about ten years old! My southern accent was way stronger and I had no idea what I was talking about, but still a full-circle public media moment.

This movie, and the book it’s based on, tells a story many Oklahomans don’t yet know, about Osage headrights & how the tribe was robbed of generational wealth. For a great primer on Osage headrights, I recommend this from : play.stitcher.com/episode/301066

Earnest Jackson, the lead singer of the Inflation song, makes a sixth of a cent for each stream. The song recently hit 1 million listens on Spotify. You do the math. (Just kidding, we do it all for you, and more.)

This was supposed to be a delightful romp through kids’ books with economic lessons, but ends up going completely awry

What do Where the Sidewalk Ends, Put Me in the Zoo, and the Frog and Toad books all have in common? They all have lessons about economics! Host @Erika_Beras met with a 3rd grade class to teach some econ and learn a little herself along the way! Listen: npr.org/2023/01/05/114
