I wonder if it’s difficult to convince existing neurologist to think outside of the box given they’ve done so much pondering within the box...
In my experience, usually the younger the doctor- the more eager he/she is willing to try experimental or up and coming procedures- given that the rational fits the diagnosis. Even if it is not “the norm” yet.
