How big is your team? Jira is enterprise software, no? It’s fine for our team of 500 people. It’s overkill for my partners single-person business.

I've used it in 2 corporations (at least a few hundred users in each) and for me the corporate setup made it even worse. In one case the admin "tweaked" the permissions so well that nobody in my scrum team was able to start a new sprint.

I've been using JIRA for 6+ months now, and it Just Works.
What doesn't work for you? -
Technically everything works, I just have to google every single thing I try to do: first I couldn't even figure out where is a "new task" button, then I tried to add a new column to board and I broke the Jira workflow.

Clearly using an older version of Jira, you should opt into the newer Jira where the buttons have moved again for no explainable reason.

That's possible! I need to check if it's possible to see the new view without having the whole corpo to go through an upgrade. Thanks for the tip!

Have you tried
@NotionHQ ? -
I've never had a chance to use it for project management, but otherwise I'm a big fan!

Would love for you to try
@NotionHQ! I can tell you it's at least better than "shouting over the table"

Hi Akshay, I'm a big fan of Notion! I use it for all kind of stuff: team knowledge, personal todo lists, writing ones. I haven't had a chance to use it for managing team projects at work, unfortunately I have no other option but Jira
