    Earth rings like a bell after a large earthquake. My favorite part of these animations is seeing the waves *come back in* to the source after traveling all the way around the world, starting about an hour and a half after the initial quake.

    Quick look at preliminary processing of Copernicus Sentinel-1 for the Puerto Rico earthquakes. Track acquired on 9 January covers area of Ponce and further east, so only gets half of earthquake signal. Color contours are 2.8 cm (1.2 inches) each. More tomorrow.

    The Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellites are planned for new SAR image acquisitions over Puerto Rico on 14 and 16 January, when we will get more complete coverage of the land displacement map.
