The first book of these I read was Ellen Tebbits. I misread the cover at first, thinking the author's name was Ellen Tebbits and the title was "Very Clearly," only misspelled because someone had made a terrible mistake.

Ribsy: the name that makes me think of a raggedy canine scamp AND hungry for ribs

God I was obsessed with Ramona. My family all calls me by my initials, JP, and my favorite aunt used to jokingly call me “J’Pona the Pest” when I was little after my favorite Ramona book
