re Firefox: I have 12 cores at 4.5 GHz, and the GPU isn't that bad. Drivers seem fine. I don't know what it could possibly be, but it was very hard to migrate from Firefox last week.

I can't find a good browser :( * firefox: bad latency every time the UI updates. It's unmanageable. Every time I type, it freezes for a couple seconds. * chromium: segfaults randomly every few hours (and freezes the x server) * chrome: pr0prietary time to try brave

hm yeah it's weird. The same issue I'm having with Firefox now, I have with Chromium on my desktop. It's switched on my laptop.

Basically everything but Firefox is chromium... Well I guess there's Safari but you're not on a Mac.

Yeah :/ I think the best solution here is to figure out why Chromium randomly segfaults and fix that. Maybe if I build from source or something it'll stop.

What about the new Edge? It's similar to Brave but more "professional" because it's Microsoft. And no crypto stuff.

There’s also Opera, and Konqueror. Also SeaOtter and the very very many forks of Firefox, like IceCat. I hope you find a browser that suits your needs though.
