AOC telling Instagram viewers tonight that she had “a close encounter” during the Capitol insurrection in which she thought she might die makes this detail from Ayanna Pressley’s chief of staff in our rebuilding of events all the more chilling.

AOC just said on her Instagram live that she didn't feel safe going to shelter with the other members of Congress because she thought some of them would disclose her location and allow her to be harmed by the rioters. She specifically said she was concerned about kidnapping

Just had to go through a metal detector before entering the House floor. Some colleagues are frustrated (guess which ones) by this requirement. Now they know how HS students in my district feel. Suck it up buttercups. Y’all brought this on yourselves.

I've been trying to sign up both my parents in NYC for COVID-19 vaccines. Both are seniors. The website is so difficult to use if you are not a millenial who deals with computers everyday. The whole process is insanity. No available appointments right now.

I set up a Facebook burner account for research purposes. “Liked” Trump’s page and a few other conservative ones. Nothing QAnon related. Months later, received recommendations from Facebook for QAnon groups several times. Facebook eschews responsibility like opioid companies.

    1) This insurrection wasn’t just redneck white supremacists and QAnon kooks. The people participating in, espousing, or cheering the violence cut across the different factions of the Republican Party and those factions were working in unison. 2/22

Christian leaders who have backed Donald Trump offered wide-ranging messages from the pulpit Sunday, days after the deadly Capitol riot. Some recited debunked conspiracy theories of who was responsible, some called for healing and some avoided the subject.

This moment in ⁦⁩ stunning footage. In front of the officer, coming up the stairs, is a mass of rioters. The USCP officer glances to his left. Between those two chairs is the entrance to the senate floor. He lured them to his right, away from their targets.
