I first wrote this game in 1998. In late 2018 I decided to make a few improvements and release it on Steam. Then I started having ideas.

I thought this change was, statistically speaking, highly unlikely to break any actual previous replay files. It did break one, because there was a much more common case I hadn't thought of

I would've fired him on the spot. I've been saying for *decades* that science denial is extremely dangerous and can get people killed. And here we are, with a huge swath of Americans refusing the vaccine. This is damnably irresponsible.

It's great that after almost 1.5 years, hiring and laying off entire games studios, and generally squandering their early launch advantage, the massive corporation entirely built around Search has integrated a Search into its service. I wish Stadia had been handled better.

There’s a reason Johnson carefully choreographs his image as casual & sloppy, down to fake ruffling of hair before he goes into or on TV - it’s to help give impression his lies are accidental but it’s a script & he knows exactly what he’s doing. And it’s dangerous

I've heard this stat a thousand times but it never ceases to blow my mind. 96% of all mammal biomass on the planet is comprised of us and our livestock and pets. Every wild mammal you can think of... the remaining 4%. That gives you a sense of the scale of animal agriculture.

Not content to believe that COVID-19 is a scam, QAnon believers are now baking century-old articles about the Spanish Flu to reveal how that too was a scam.

This refurb row seems to me indicative of something particular about Boris’s character. Not sleaze etc etc, but tightfistedness. Most of us can’t find £58,000. After years of that DT column, he probably can, but risks his career to avoid it. (Cont’d)

Republicans’ red meat lie is part of a larger meat industry-fueled campaign to make the meat question so controversial that climate activists just shut up about it and focus on fossil fuels. It’s a high profit-value lie with even higher stakes for humans

A little bit of perspective for . Allegedly spending tens (or some say even hundreds) of thousands of pounds to renovate a flat that was last refurbished in 2011. When vulnerable people in this country are left to live in mould-infested flats by their landlords.

It's unacceptable for NHS staff to be treated this way. It risks overdraft charges & mortgage defaults. That could result in inability to get credit eg cheap remortgage in future Its poor practice, poorly dealt with (read rest of thread) & hurts recruitment of such a crucial role

For every barrel of oil that emits probably over 300kg CO2 when burnt, this oil company offsets 3.8kg of production emissions. And... ta da! Carbon neutral oil. Solving the climate crisis is going to take a bit more than this.
