I'm just someone that is supporting JT before most of people here even know that he exists, when he was a active user o Facebook group showing his work. Now what I see is someone that care about "public opinion" more than who give $ support. But like i said "it's up to you".
Weird, because that seemed to be in conflict with your last statement "respect what patrons choose" vs "supporting" someone via donations starts getting into unrealistic expectations land. It can be difficult when your own expectations intersect with someone else's artistic work.
