The curator of the MiSTer repository doesn’t allow the use of git submodules nor Linux specific features such as symbolic links. Those conditions do not suit my development needs.

Yeah It's ridiculous. I want to discuss and share the joy of MiSTer but I can't stand them interupting every single conversation with their negativity that often times wasn't even related to the topic. Sentient just shouts into the void. Ron and I got blocked at the same time lol
I wonder where the tipping point will be. You can't just keep blocking folks that have passion, care about the project, AND happen to have an opinion. It just isn't a sustainable model.

The situation with Ron was great I remember it quite well. I believe he mentioned he liked a game or system and sentient replied with something like "I think it sucks" and Ron said "can you fucking not just this once?" And poof he was blocked LOL
